Welcome to Nawrocki Pictures
Before heading to the “entertainment capital of the world” to launch Nawrocki Pictures in 2010, its founder, Robert Nawrocki, already had a wealth of experience as a successful director, photographer, writer and marketer as the architect of Justifiable Films in Los Angeles.
Over the course of a decade, the company’s innovative approach to creating films led to the prototype for large format film to be used as never before – across multiple mediums in both film and print advertising simultaneously, as spotlighted in Kodak’s prestigious In Camera magazine in October of 2004.
As a result, Nawrocki’s work was showcased in extensive video and print campaigns and featured in such publications as Elle, Marie Claire, InStyle, Vanity Fair, W, and Cosmopolitan. Justifiable Films and Nawrocki also put their one-of-a-kind stamp on projects for NASCAR, DKNY, Chanel, and Neiman Marcus, to name a few.
Other significant long format films shot and directed by Nawrocki under the Justifiable Films umbrella were Project Remember, which was filmed in Japan and commemorated the 50th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb as documented by the survivors, and an on-going project about September 11, 2001, for which Nawrocki was granted access to film at the site shortly after the attacks with infrared gear and HD.
Nawrocki’s early experience as an apprentice working directly with Jeff Panzer, the Chief Commissioner of Video Production for Universal Music (Los Angeles) and, ultimately, then Universal Music Chairman Doug Morris, and later becoming the youngest Director of Retail Marketing for Universal/ MCA (Los Angeles) at the age of 26 gives him a unique perspective. His knowledge and skills combined with his natural talent for filmmaking gives him the advantage of knowing how to successfully meld all aspects of the business.
Five years ago, Nawrocki quietly made the move to Las Vegas to create a production company that changed the way standard business was done. Nawrocki Pictures opens the door for limitless possibilities by contracting long relationships with talent and then building specific and unique projects around them including TV, film, web television, and the creation of product lines and merchandise. Current clients include A&E’s Bad Ink star Dirk Vermin, and James Brown, Jr., the son of the late “Godfather of Soul,” James Brown.
Nawrocki’s passion is to create the unique vehicle with which his clients tell their own story while remaining very much in the background. While many of today’s gifted visionaries opt to become their own media sensations, Nawrocki does quite the opposite. He says, “I believe a great producer and director utilizes a shield of anonymity and shines the spotlight. My only desire is the happiness and success of my star and my audience!”
